The classes offered are very informative and challenging. I'm excited to try alternate mediums & to learn from working Artists. My specific adult classes range in age from young adults to folks like me - young at heart (LOL).
I started taking Intro Drawing & Painting for the first time in 2012 in a different city. I was excited to find the same classes at Delaplaine as well as a variety of others. The building & parking is easy to access, has a wonderful staff, and they hold many exciting events and exhibits throughout the year.
Very community oriented art place. Colorful and creative, but still aware of local history. Great for events like weddings and bar mitzvah. Has classes. Giant dusty wheels left over from the mill in the attic. Cute gift shop.
Free children's art programs on first Saturdays. Wonderful asset for Frederick.
This is a free place to come see some beautiful art. They offer classes in a variety of forms for all ages. While I was there the staff was busy with a party, but they looked accomplished and helpful.
Extremely friendly staff, beautiful location on Carroll Creek, & wonderful place to explore local artists & their masterpieces.
