Looking to try out some premixed liquors? Do it at Nola. Get a Vodka Espresso and you’ve already won for the day.

Highly recommend.

I loved going there, then one day after many dinners and drinks they wouldn't let me bring my support dog in (he was with me for these times). Unfortunately I need him to be out and about so I can't even get coffee there anymore. It was a great place to meet with my friends.

Also worth a shout out is the fact that, at least in warm weather, they can usually accomodate my dog with their outside seating. They always bring him a bowl of water, and he loves going, too!

Way over priced, only hipsters work there so you get the occasional attitude... we live here and never go eat here because it's so expensive. It's good the few times I have had food but I know places that don't make me cringe when I look at the menu prices that are better in the area... Go there instead, like I do, that's my best suggestion. I think the owners need to come off the ridiculous prices they're charging. If the staff never threw shade I might feel different, the passive-aggression gets real here. They have coffee cards were you can earn a free drink after spending a fortune on a million cups of coffee, and please don't think you can save them up and use them as you see fit... they will throw shade on it! So annoying so I will take a quick pass! I used to go there every morning but I got sick of the occasional petty attitude.

Take a stroll downtown in Charming Historic Frederick and you might end up at Cafe Nola. If you do, good job. You made it to one of the best cafes in town where you can enjoy a great meal, food, and great experience.

To be fair we were a difficult crowd. But... the beef stroganoff was a toss, the mushroom ravioli was OK, apparently the poutine was good. Service was good. Environment is very bar style but cozy.

The decor is always changing but is great to experience if you regular Cafe Nola. You might be inclined to have your meal outside, which is possible with their outdoor seating.

This is a favorite of mine in Frederick. Their specialty lattes are glorious and always beautifully presented. I come here often with my friends because my vegetarian friends have an easy time navigating the menu, and are even able to find good off-menu substitutions for certain things. If you're looking to pop in and get a quick bite, this is not your place - they are a popular spot and often get busy. Expect to sit and chat with friends and enjoy their youthful indie vibe.
