Terrible store- besides being overpriced the service lately has gotten worse. I always have to wait at the counter for a few minutes before one of the employees realizes there are people waiting to check out. Only went because it was close to wegmans but after being rudely treated by a man at the check out today I will not be returning. There are many better stores with nicer staff in Frederick to choose from.
This place is our go-to! They have a colourful selection, and the staff is knowledgable, professional, and friendly. Leslie is my wine guru! My husband and I have had nothing but positive experiences there. They really go the extra mile to accommodate.

Wide selection with varying imports. Helpful staff. Only downside is that some of the imports come and go.
I live within walking distance of two pretty good wine/beer/liquor stores. But Frederick Wine House is worth the drive. They always have a good selection of beer and higher-end liquor. The staff have always been really helpful and willing to check inventory when something is out of stock on the floor.
