Apparently, the owner had also had the police out there looking at my car to make a big scene. I was informed by the manager at the Frederick Coffee Company next door that the owner has made a habit of doing this to customers for years now. I will never be a customer at Shab Row again and will continue to spread the word to others!

I have been a regular customer for the past several years but no longer. Yesterday the owner had my car towed, which was a $200 fee on my part, from his parking lot, even though I was parked in a legitimate spot. The lot was crowded so I did my best to give other cars in front of me room to get out. A sign stated that 'all non-paying customers will be towed' however I had bought a tea and was sitting upstairs in the building for at least two hours.
Absolutely a wonderful and unique find in needlework shopps. Kathy Markers the owner, was extremely helpful in showing and sharing all kinds of tips & techniques.
Kathy went out of her way to give information, history & to give several demonstrations of her tools and needlework techniques. She was also very accommodating if we needed patterns or specific thread color.
We loved the FREE Carriage Rides and the beautiful holiday lights! Gorgeous shops and such nice staff!
I would highly recommend her shoppe. You should plan ahead by bringing any of your project patterns and supply lists with you when you visit Kathy's. She'll definitely has lots of beautiful supplies to choose from at, Primitive Homespuns Wool & Needleworks.
