Wegmans is AMAZING. Best grocery store I've ever been to by far. They have all the natural and vegan products I need, and pretty much everything else I'd ever need to get. A huuuge candy isle, may as well be in an actual candy store. All their pre prepared food is amazing too, my favorite is their sushi. The seating area for if you're eating there is gigantic, you can even pick what type of room you want. It is so awesome. Their bathrooms are the most sanitary, pleasant public bathrooms around and I wouldn't be surprised to find that quality bathroom in a high class restaurant. Basically, this is my favorite grocery store. And no one is paying or encouraging me to say any of this by the way, I just figured I'd review it so people know that if they need a great grocery store this is the one.
It was not a typical Wegmans experience today. Because of Black Friday the store closed at 6pm. When I arrived at 4:30 PM the store was already in shut down mode Hot bar items were woefully understocked. Other market items soups-wings-cookies were not available. Meats were in short supply and I found myself looking very hard to find what I needed to put a meal together for this evening. I think in the future if you are going to close early it would benefit your customers not to be so overzealous in shutting down your market area and to keep the meats and other items out as to not befuddle your clientele. I found my Wegmans experience today to be unacceptable.
This Wegmans is the ultimate shopping experience. I wish I lived a bit closer so I could go more often but at 3+ miles away from my apartment it's a bit of a walk. I do hike over there every now and then because they offer EVERYTHING you could want. It was one of the first places I found cheer wine for example, the second was the pop shop downtown. They also have a great cafe and really good premade food. If you're looking for organic groceries they have you covered, specialty nuts and cheese? It's all there. They have truffles. Expensive but delicious. I 100% recommend this place as the best place to shop in Frederick.
Everything looked very delicious. I had wings and pizza. Really good food. First time going there and would definitely go back.
Staff is friendly and Wegmans is never too crowded and the pizza is good too. There is also many aisles for quicker moving time. I love this place!
