History you want history you get. Both men that were working that day we're very knowledgeable about the Frederick area..
I first discovered the Frederick Visitor's Center when I moved here in 2010, and I still stop in front time to time. It's a great way for both visitors and new residents to get a sense of what Frederick County offers (their displays and information aren't limited to the city). Knowledgeable staffers are always on hand to answer questions, and the Center offers a small video presentation on the history of the County. You'll even find free 45 minute parking every day, a rarity in downtown Frederick.
The Frederick Visitor Center was a nice place to visit and learn about the history of Frederick County. I also visited a restaurant there called Dutch's Daughter, which was a very nice place to eat.
Your go-to place before exploring Frederick City or Frederick County Maryland. I particularly like the video clips that they have available.
Staff was very helpful about the area. Movie about area was also veey informative.
