My husband and I ordered angelcakes for our wedding and we could not be more pleased! The cake was as beautiful as it was delicious. We got a four tiered cake, each tier being a different flavor: vanilla, mocha, fresh strawberry, and chocolate raspberry. It was so delicious that some of our guests ate up to four slices! The cake was also even More beautiful and elegant than the sample photo we provided.
My daughter has been obsessed with cupcakeries ever since becoming an avid viewer of Cupcake Wars. We decided to start venturing out to local cupcake shops and Angel Cakes was our first stop. We ordered one Madagascar Vanilla cupcake to try and my daughter almost inhaled it whole! It has a delightful flavor that reminded me of the homemade cakes my mother used to bake when I was young. My daughter said,"it was the best cupcake I've ever had!!!!" We highly recommend giving Angel Cakes a try!
Ordered 5 dozen cupcakes and a 6 inch cake for my baby shower months in advance. Came early the day of the shower to pick them up. Not only were the cupcakes beautiful and delicious but the staff was amazing. The two women working helped my husband and I carry everything to the car. Even waited for me to get buckled in the car and handed me the cake to put on my lap. Super impressed with the flavor and customer service. Will return again for her 1 year birthday party. My favorite cupcakes anywhere! They are always delicious and I honestly don't like to buy anywhere else because I have been so spoiled by Angelcakes! The service is always professional. They are not gushy and pushy, just respectful and kind to everyone. And as to the reviews complaining about the cupcakes being too sweet, THEY'RE CUPCAKES!! OF course they are going to taste sweet. I always wonder why people review bakeries and complain about the sweetness of cakes and cupcakes. They are rich and flavorful, but not nauseatingly sweet by any means.
The design was pretty, but for over $300 for 45 servings I expected a little bit more detail work.
Pretty but not tasty. The cake was very dense and super sweet. Way to tall and the sizes are pretty much double of a regular serving. I will never go back. We took about half home and threw it in the trash.
