Visited Junia for a full set of lashes and I could not be happier with the product or the service. She took the time to ask questions, view photos of what I was interested in and she created exactly the look I wanted. The spa itself was clean, gorgeous, relaxing....I can't wait to go back!
Wouldn't go anywhere else in the entire DC metro area. Waxes provide great results and don't irritate skin. Makiko is very thorough.
I am a regular customer and usually always happy with my service, however, the front desk had booked me at their customer appreciation rate and then called me back a half an hour later telling me they did not have enough Aveda Massage Therapists and that I would have to pay full price. I requested to speak to a Manager or Owner and she replied she could not get in touch with either one. She called me back right before closing so I could not reach her for a reply. She offered me a facial for the discount and told me I could cancel my massage appointment. I booked a massage, not a facial and I feel this kind of cold response unacceptable and the customer service was very unaccommodating. Feeling very disappointed. This was Sunday, April 22nd, 2017. This review is for the front desk only. Connie is my massage therapist at Verbena and she is absolutely amazing!!!
I purchased gift certificates for my mother and sister for general services. The ladies at the front explained the services the spa offered and helped me tailor my gift amount to what they offered. I felt very welcome and my mom and sister loved their experience. I highly recommend this spa.
Makiko is the best and super sweet! I'd definitely go again. Also, this place is in a nice area to park and stroll around. :)
