I love the look of this place! Well the actual lobby isn't anything too exciting the dining room is beautiful and the food is much better than other places like this that you can stay. The front courtyard is very relaxing and offers a lot of space to stretch out and enjoy the weather. The room was downright beautiful and very comfortable as well. They feature a free breakfast which is very tasty and small bites for dinner as well.
Are use this property recently to conduct a meeting. I normally don't use residence Inn's. They usually don't have a big enough training room for my needs. The training room with this facility is Easily 1300 ft.². I found every aspect of this meeting extremely easy and convenient from coordinating with the local staff sitting at the meeting in executing the contract, to the staff who actually took care of my catering needs and setting up the room. The room is set up to my standards and the floorplans night sent them. If I ever have to come back to Frederick to teach again I will definitely use this property.
Pros: Our room was newly renovated and the staff was (mostly) really helpful. We loved the BBQ and basketball court. Great breakfast too
Overall: Decent hotel but wouldn't stay there again.
The indoor spa and pool are great! The outdoor patio is inviting with grills and a fire pit!
Cons: Strangely the hallways were not AC'd and the elevators were like saunas. Also the range fan in the kitchen in our room did not seem to vent to the outside. This made our kitchen unusable for anything beyond toasting bread. Lastly the breakfast was really robust but strictly cut off at 9:30 so don't be late! They even took the coffee away. What's the point of that?? Why not just leave it out until it's gone? When I asked the teenage girl to bring it back so I could have a cup to go she did so very begrudgingly. Give me a break.
Friendly staff. Clean quiet room. Car was unmolested in the morning. Met all my needs.
