Such a beautiful theater. As a Child I performed in Cinderella and Carousel here with other community members. These days it is a BIG ticket event hall. Never thought it would attract such big headliners! But I also see how much the Preservation of this elegant little theater has lifted it above soo many others! Convenient parking nextdoor and easy walk to downtown Frederick should you want to dine before of after!
Attended a live show at the Weinberg Center and had a great time. It's an Art Deco theater in downtown Frederick. Easy to find. There is some on-street parking, but it's even easier to use the parking garage around the corner. The theater's lobby area is spacious with a variety of concession options. The theater itself is very nice with comfortable seats. All in all, a fine time was had by all.
Went there to see Judy B performance. Kids had a good time. Volunteers were nice and helpful and performance started on time
This is a treasured venue in the city of Frederick MD. The venue has been refurbished several times but continues to charm and amaze with it's old world architecture and accoustics. My recent visit was to see the annual Tuba Christmas concert. Another great feature of the Weinberg Center is the pipe organ with the pop up organ keyboard console for the musician. It's an unforgettable experience to hear that organ and have the musician and organ keyboard elevate through a trap door in center stage. This makes seeing silent movies a treat for young and old alike.
What there for The Christmas Carol. Nice experience. The balcony is a little far back from the stage so would recommend seating on the floor or in the first rows of the balcony.
