Olde Mother is one of the newer breweries in Frederick MD. It's in the old Lohr's restaurant building near the fairgrounds. It's easy to get to and has plenty of parking. The inside has a dive bar feel, but is overall very clean. The staff was friendly, outgoing and downright entertaining. We really enjoyed the barroom conversations with the patrons and staff. I tried 2 beers while I was there and enjoyed both. They don't have a huge selection, but that's not a bad thing. While some of the other breweries in Frederick might seem more exciting to visit, Olde Mother is the type of place you'll go back to over and over.
Beers are always changing & evolving. There is something new on tap every couple weeks so you won't get bored here! Just as an FYI- this is NOT a dog friendly establishment. Roskoh & Barely are their house dogs that wander around but for liability reasons, other dogs are not allowed. Sorry!
Always a great selection of craft beers!! This brewery is fun and friendly. A great place to meet up with friends and hang out for hours!
Loved meeting nick one of the owners here. He came right up to us and thanked us for coming out. Sounds so small but it definitely leaves such an impact about the character of this place.
This place blows the others downtown away. Lots of really decent beers here, and we had the brewery doggos to keep us company. Low key, good music, good brews...and they have purse hooks under the bar!!
