The good news is the repair was performed to my satisfaction. The bad news is nearly everything else about the process was lacking and disappointing. I received no communication from Caliber aside from confusing and inaccurate emails from the "automated system." I was not informed by phone or email that my car repair was complete. I was also not informed that I needed to pay for the repair and that a check was being sent to me from the third party insurance. When I picked my car up, no one presented the repaired area to me to assure my satisfaction with the work done. I did not feel like my business was appreciated or valued or if anyone cared whether or not I was happy. One bright spot was the receptionist, who was friendly and eager to help.
They honestly suck. I had been in an accident about 2 months ago and when I got the car back a bunch of lights on the dashboard were on and the steering wheel made a weird noise. It's been 3 weeks and I havent gotten my car back and I have to call them nonstop for updates because they never update you at all! Told my insurance company this is the last time I'll EVER be going there.
Without my knowledge.
This place is a slop shop and the manager Ray/David is so lost, He and I went over my truck two weeks ago about the warranty work on a paint job that was terrible. there were runs, fish eyes burnt clear coat from buffing out the runs. You can see the paint sealer through the paint job, runs on every panel, door jambs half painted, paint on my dashboard and installed a leaking windshield. Door jambs half painted. then Ray agreed to repaint the truck and was scheduled to drop it off on the August 13, 2017 and he said it will take 7 to 10 days to paint the truck. fast forward to the 22nd of August I decided to call and see if the truck was ready. The front office help said that there working on the truck and Ray will call me back. About an hour later Ray called and said no the truck was not started and he was looking for paperwork. They had pulled the paperwork two weeks prior and approved the repair and to drop the truck off. He said he will call me back which he never did and when I did call him he said they decided to not paint the truck. This place has gone through so many managers and employee turn over the past year they dont know whats going on Let's see where this goes more to follow up on this company in Frederick , MD on Tilco Dr.
July of 2015 I was rear ended and insurance paid for repairs. I'd done business on a previous vehicle with Givens Collision Repair, so when the insurance company recommended them I had no objection. Work got done, no complaints, lifetime guarantee. Fast forward 18 months, I notice progressive cracking in the paint of my rear bumper. I take it in, Givens is now Caliber Collision. The service manager gives me a long drawn out explanation about how my car MUST have been damaged again.
So much for a lifetime guarantee. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
In the exact same spot.
Damaged again.
Great place to get your car restore. Good people you will be working with
