In my opinion, this is a horrible management company. I cannot speak to their experience in real estate sale, but do not use for property management. They agreed to manage a property, and then allowed the tenants to destroy it. They claim that the owner of the property was informed of the destruction, but the owner states that they told her receiving some rent was better than receiving nothing. This company refuses to take responsibility for their lack of management of this particular property and has even claimed the owner of the property is harassing them by simply following up and reviewing them on social media.
Horrible experience as company did not manage and care for my home as advertised. I'm simply at a loss. Despite at least one scheduled walk through and two additional visits to my home, manager never divulged to me that my home was destroyed. Over $10,000 in damages and money lost. Bad tenants from the beginning who I did not choose personally and an eviction should have happen after the first few months. Had I been given information about the condition of my home, I would have insisted on it! I NEVER knew about the damage. No one is stepping up to take any responsibility! Surprise!!!
Unless you wish to be out over $10,000 in damages, please have your property managed elsewhere.
Speaking of social media, when the owner of the property and others who have seen the destruction to the property reviewed this company on Facebook, Frederick Town Realty first rallied friends and family to post false reviews to increase their ratings and then eventually deleted or altered their Facebook page to hide the reviews. This is not professional behavior. If you cannot accept criticism of your company, perhaps you should not be in business at all.
