This is the best ice rink anywhere in Frederick. I've played hockey here for the last 12 years in the adult leagues and it's always been fun. The post-game social scene for adult hockey is great. There are a lot of good guys and gals here.
Good staff & fast ice. I use my own skates. Reasonable prices.
Sheet 2 is consistently voted as the coldest rink in the region, so if you're coming to watch a game, dress warmly.
Good ice quality. Ok customer service. The skates I rented there fit strangely and hurt my ankles.
Took the kids during a cheap skate session. Wasn't too crowded. Shoes are everywhere since you don't exchange rental skates for your shoes. The lobby/consession area could use more seating.
Fast ice, which is good for public skate. Weekend admission is steep even if you bring your own skates. The rink is cold so take a jacket and maybe gloves too. Could be cleaned a bit more often. Staff were adrupt and unfriendly. The skate shop is limited, and the guy there at the time didn't know much about the stick tape I wanted to buy. Good overall though.
