Frederick CarMax was such a delight to work with. Very kind people. I went multiple times to look at cars but was never once hassled or pressured by anyone into a sale. When I was ready to sell my car and purchase a new one through CarMax, the process was extremely easy and so much more pleasant than past experiences of going through a dealership. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had.

Friendly staff and non-aggressive sales. Never once tried to get me in to a car I was not interested in. Pretty much hassle-free. Would recommend you at least add it to your test drive list. Plenty of cars to choose from and the free hold option is great.
FYI: they will encourage you purchase their warranty. Not that it's a bad thing, but you may be surprised if you go in on a $10k car and come out with a $12k+ bill.
Had good experience, went to buy one car, ended up buying another one in Cleveland that better matched our needs. Salesman picked up on what we wanted versus what we said. Found a good alternative at similar price and let us test drive an almost look alike before we ordered it brought here and eventually we bought it. He gave us a time line as to went to come back, but one of the items took longer then I thought it would. Hence 4 stars not 5
Frederick CarMax was AMAZING!!!!! I didn't think I could get financed but they did it! My vehicle was transferred from VA with no cost or obligation. Then it was held for me until I could get there. I absolutely adore my car and will forever be a CarMax customer!
