Nice place to buy in bulk, whether it be groceries, electronics, or otherwise. Good customer service. The store is laid out very well. Really busy! Try to go early in the morning or maybe on a weekday when there's less people.
Found everything I needed quickly enough, without any real problems, even though I had to fight holiday shoppers.
I don't think that the self-checkout area is designed for even small necessity or impulse shopping trips, and it needs to be--or it should be replaced with more cashiers.
A well run and well stocked Costco. The fruit and veggies are always fresh and the aisles and neat and roomy. It's a pretty standard Costco really. Easy to locate goods and not too many sample carts to get in the way.
Good place to do bulk shopping nice selection. If you use the gas pumps be prepared to wait in line. I returned the day after Thanksgiving known as Black Friday. The store was well-organized the staff was friendly and I also found out that they do serve a barbecue sandwich with coleslaw that's excellent for the price. They were really on top of things today it was actually a pleasure to shop there and no worse than any other day. The return line did look like it was running overtime today however Italy were stuffed with as many people as possible. This is one of the reasons I enjoy shopping hear the plan ahead.
I like this Costco because it is not crazy busy like the ones closer to DC. Also, there is gas at this one, so I stop anytime I am travelling on I-270. I like the ease of getting in and out of the store without having to circle the parking lot for a space. Also, the other shoppers are not obnoxious, like at Pentagon City. I can actually move through the store without being hit or blocked out of merchandise. May be different during prime time, but I've been here on weekdays, weekends and evenings and have never had huge lines or overbearing crowds.
My one complaint is with the self-checkout process. I thought I had few enough things that it would be a snap, but the checkout is designed to require that everything goes into a surprisingly small tray after it's scanned.
Even though I had about ten items, I almost filled the tray, and I had to waste time reaching over and rearranging a few items so that nothing would fall out, and I'd still have enough room.
