.... luckily, I am handy, and was eventually able to remove the security tag myself, (With no visible harm to the garment!)
I generally have a wonderful experience at this Macy's, and my most recent visit was not terribly far off.
Only one thing missed in this *very* fruitful and cost-effective visit... I found a security tag on a pair of ankle slacks when removing tags for initial washing.
I was not able to make the 8-hour round trip.
The last time I shopped at the FSK Macy's, I somehow managed to tangle myself through the clearance clothing section in my size.... well, I only made it through perhaps a third of the section, and I went home with half of that.
Recently they got Mac cosmetics which makes the store a little bit interesting , staff is very friendly
The customer service i received was impeccable, as I require extra assistance... being in a wheelchair. Even with my husband helping wrangle clothing. He also gets my store cards, savings cards, coupons, etc! The mountain of clothing was great, for it gave us time to talk! I always have great conversations about the quality of Macy's clothing, bags, shoes, etc. and how they keep making it easier and easier to use discounts.
We had 2 apts for makeovers for homecoming. The first young lady that did one of my daughters makeup was great! She did a fantastic job. However, I requested she be the one do my other daughters makeover and she told me she couldn't do it, that someone else was doing it. We waited and waited for the other person to come back off break to do the second makeover. Now we are past our appointment time and running late. In the meantime, the lady I requested and she told me no is now taking walk-Ins. Didn't understand this at all! I spoke to the manager on duty so she grudgingly did the makeover herself and did a terrible job! My daughter went home crying. She washed her face and did her own makeup. Terrible first experience!! Terrible customer service! Lesson learned! My girls will be doing their own makeup for homecoming!!
Back to the store at hand, I truly enjoy shopping in-store at Macy's, and it is one of the few stores I prefer to visit in person vs. shopping online.
Sales associates were rude and have no customer service skills what so ever. There is a reason stores are closing! Sad I have enjoyed shopping there for years.
I am thankful they keep trying to make all such rewards, discounts, special events, programs, donations and other types of savings available in fewer formats, fewer things to keep track of, less to lose, and from what I hear... they may only need a Macy's card or rewards card in the future.
Try stopping by, I think it is worthwhile!
Although I have moved away, I still come back and shop at this store every other month or so.
Customer service sucks here. return all my stuff after I paid for it and went somewhere else with better customer service
Unfortunately, the Macy's customer service department I called as the online assistance number could do nothing to help, and suggested I take them back to get the sensor removed...
As I did not wish to bother the store to ship them there and back, I came up with a hopeful solution.
