INCONVENIENT, UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE.
I would never make an appointment with a physicians office who can't afford staff to answer the phones. Attempted 4 times this morning to speak with someone and all I get is an answering machine. Not for me. Sorry.
First of all: this doctor is unable to see patients unless it is before 8 am and only accepts cash or check. INCONVENIENT. Second, I was a prospective new patient, and was told by the receptionist staff to please fill out paper work that they would mail to me. Two weeks goes by: no paper work. I had to call and get the paper work sent in an emergency email "because Dr. Belani is VERY busy and I needed to come with it ready". UNPROFFESIONAL Show up to the office 10 minutes late because my printer was not working and I had to fill out paper work i received late the night before (called ahead to inform I was late and why and told all was fine). Walk into the office, dr Belani behind the desk glares at me over her glasses. Walks around the corner without ao much as a hello and calls admin over and begins whispering. RUDE. Admin comes back and tells me she can no longer see me and that I should have just come with the blank paper work.
I thought Dr. Belani was very informative. She went over the possible etiology of my health, outcomes, and thoroughly explained the diagnostic tests and results. She is a brilliant doctor. The front desk staff was also very friendly and kind. It is a small office, but I think it's sufficient. Also, one tip would be to bring cash. Sometimes the credit card scanner is out of commission.
